How do you capture a place where the journey is as memorable as the destination?

Through a multi-year partnership with Tutka Bay Lodge, I have helped shape the property's visual identity through photography and film, creating imagery that reflects the spirit of one of Alaska's most distinctive wilderness lodges. Rather than focusing solely on accommodations, our work has centered on the experiences that define life on Kachemak Bay and the people who make those experiences possible.

From bear viewing by bush plane and glacier helicopter flights to sea kayaking, oyster harvesting, backcountry hiking, and wild foraging, each production was designed to immerse viewers in the rhythm of coastal Alaska. The goal was not simply to document activities, but to communicate the sense of discovery, connection, and adventure that guests experience throughout their stay.

Working across multiple seasons, we developed a cohesive visual language that now supports the lodge's marketing across its website, editorial features, social media, and luxury travel partnerships. By blending cinematic storytelling with authentic documentary moments, the imagery reflects both the extraordinary landscape and the intimate hospitality that have become the hallmark of Tutka Bay Lodge.

The partnership continues to evolve with each return to Alaska, building a growing library of photography and films that tell the story of a destination where wilderness, hospitality, and adventure exist in equal measure.
